Anchor's Away

Hello everyone how are you all?
Hope you all had a lovely weekend, we had a really nice one, out with all the family & both the family dogs on Saturday & then spent the day with family again on Sunday & had a BBQ at mine, love weekends.

Ok less babbling & lets show you what I've made with products from Noor Design UK. Today I have a more male inspired card for you.........yep less foofiness lol. I sometimes find male cards hard but I do think Pion Design make male cards easier with their gorgeous papers.

Excuse my photo's I'm in the middle of re-designing my craft room & have not set up an area for my light tent & lights yet, so this is took with my main lights on & we fitted LED lights under the units which help sooooo much, especially when crafting.
I love this collection.....ok I love most of Pion's collection lol. This collection is 'Legends Of The Sea' but the 'Happy Birthday' tag is from the Mr Tom's Treasure's Collection.
All links are below to take you to the products I've used

For the centre I used an 'Anchor' image from Images From The Past & added foam pads underneath to raise it up. Under that I cut out a rectangle using a Fantasy Die from the same sheet I used for the card which is 'Aye Aye Captain' & raised that too to give it all dimension.

The boat at the bottom I fussy cut from the Aye Aye Captain sheet & popped it onto foam pads & underneath I cut out seaweed from Foamiran.
The Anchor, Lighthouse & Seagull are cut from Joy Crafts dies.

The tag I cut from Pion Mr Tom's Treasures 'Mr Tom's Memory's Notes'. I punched a hole through it, added an eyelet & then a keyring from my stash hooked onto a Tim Holtz Clip.

I cut the corner from a Joy Crafts corner die. I also added bubbles here & there using Structure Paste & a mask art stencil that Tracy can order in if you would like it.

Thats it form me, thank you so much for stopping by.
Lotsa hugs Vicky xxx

I Do

Hello and good morning everyone,

no... it's not me who do :-) ... I got a request to create a Wedding card. They saw one I made a while ago and loved it. I'm really honored they asked me to make one, and they even wanted me to write it :-). Well, the Maja Design Vintage Romance paper collection is definitively my fave to create Wedding cards. The images are so lovely and all the papers so romantic. And they're really fun to work with.

The two images I used on my card are from the Ephemera sheet...

I also love the paper strips on each sheet, they are so useful for giving some accents to the card. I also used the gorgeous lace Liz and beautiful Nicolette Button.

Thank you so much for your visit. Have a happy day!
Hugs, Karina

Cuppa Love

Hi guys, it's my turn again today to show you some inspiration using the latest Craftezee collection for June - Afternoon Tea, this collection is completely sold out but the next one July - Elegance 11 is available to pre-order here now,

In the kit was this fabulous chipboard sentiment, I thought it would go great with some mixed media on and around it so made a Canvas for my kitchen shelf
I took one of the Dutch Doobadoo masks which is on sale now and using some of the fabulous Dutch Doobadoo structure paste with it, going over the whole of the canvas, then carefully lift the mask off,

I then left the canvas to dry, when dry i added some mixed media including some of the Prima colour bloom sprays which Tracy sells too and some waxes from my stash,

I added some  Frantage embossing powder to the chipboard frame and sentiment, heat set it with my heat gun, then finished it off with a cute tea pot charm which was in the kit,

These totally gorgeous stunning flowers were also in the kit and I simply added a metal leaf behind them too,

I stamped one of the cup stamps by Magnolia onto Fabriano watercolour paper and painted it with distress ink, when dry I went over the cups with some crackle accents, then fussy cut them out and layered them up ,

I added a tag onto which I added some text with my computer and a heart embellishment which came in a previous Craftezee collection, I fixed it from the cup and onto the frame by adding some white waxed cord, I used one of the Wycinanka borders which I again gave the Frantage treatment too,

Well I hope this shows you the kits can be used for mixed media projects too,
Happy Crafting!!!
Hugs Liz xx

Pion Design Vintage Nursery

Hello Everyone,

I am sharing with you today a Vintage Nursery made using the gorgeous Pion Design Theodore and Bella collection of papers.  They are so gorgeous.  It's difficult to photograph due to the accetate front, but nevertheless I hope you like it.

It is all handmade by myself including each and every flower on the top using Foamiran :)

I loved the Waiting to Play and really wanted to ensure it wasn't covered up and was just perfect for Nursery.  I also used Rise and Shine for the inside of the right panel. I added a doily with a clock in the centre.

I also added a Scrapiniec Royal Window.

For the panel on the left I used Ballerina and Friends,  I wanted the little treasure chest of toys to be in the corner.  I also cut out the Teddy and Bunny from the Images from the Past and framed it using a Prima Resin frame.

I have used several laces for the Cradle, Tulle in Ivory, Lace Grace for the drapes and bedding, Lace Gwendoline for around the crib and Pearl lace for the inside edging.

The chest of drawers was made from match boxes and painted with pink acrylic paint and gesso and distressed for the vintage look.

I used the Fantasy Die Magic Lace for either side of the front panels, this is a fabulous die and cuts like a dream.

Here's a picture of lid with all the Foamiran Flowers on :)

For the Cradle I used the Bear Hugs Sheet.

Hope you like it.

Hugs Tracy x
